Admissions

Invictus International School Bukit Timah is an accredited International School, proudly adhering to the Primary and Lower Secondary International Cambridge Curricula. As a non-selective institution catering to students with diverse abilities, we prioritize an inclusive environment while maintaining academic standards.

To ensure a tailored learning experience, we conduct an admissions process where prospective students undergo assessments. For Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2), we encourage attendance at trial mornings where informal assessments in English and Maths are conducted on a one-on-one basis. For students from Year 3 onwards, a CEM assessment is administered by our academic staff to gauge their learning abilities. We strive to accommodate students who demonstrate:

  • Use of English as their working language.
  • Age-appropriate fluency in the English language (speaking, reading, writing and comprehension).
  • Individual learning needs, which can be largely met within the mainstream classroom, and without significant additional adult support.
  • The right to study in Singapore.
  • A positive attitude towards learning!

Invictus International School Bukit Timah Admissions Process

Invictus International School Bukit Timah is a non-selective school with mixed abilities of pupils. However, all pupils will be assessed in order to ascertain their abilities when they start at our school. We encourage all children to attend a trial morning; however, it is compulsory for Years 1 and 2.

Step 1 Book a school tour to view our campus. Do bring your children if possible. If abroad or unable to visit in person, an Online video call and Tour can be arranged.
Step 2 Complete an application form and contact our Student Services team who will then arrange for an assessment and/or trial morning. Please email the team: studentservices.bt@invictus.edu.sg.
Step 3 All requested documents must be submitted to student services before the school renders a decision, and this includes all past school reports.
Step 4 Once a place is confirmed, our Student Services team will send out an offer letter with all other relevant documents to read through and sign.

Additional Processes if Required

  • In-class observation may be needed for confirmed or suspected additional educational needs.
  • When an in-class observation is not possible, and if expert assessments are more than 12 months old, additional assessments will be required from a (recommended) provider.
