Secondary Languages Teacher

Kia Wee graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Language and English Literature from the National University of Singapore and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education. He taught in various local secondary schools in Singapore for more than ten years before branching out into the private education sector and teaching in international schools. He believes that students should be able to pick up the English language in a safe environment in the classroom setting and immerse themselves fully in the language beyond the classroom, applying and relating what they have learnt to the world at large.

In his spare time, he enjoys going on vacations and escaping the urban jungle by exploring the great outdoors with his family, especially on road trips to Malaysia. He also leads an active lifestyle, running, cycling and swimming on a regular basis.
